Hourly ("the App") is owned and operated by Eng. Mostafa. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App accesses, how it is stored, and your rights as a user. The App is designed with privacy by default — all your data stays on your device.
Hourly does NOT collect, transmit, or share any personal information with any third party or server. The only data the App stores is:
This data is stored exclusively on your device using local on-device storage and is never sent anywhere.
If you attach a photo of your payslip, the text is read entirely on your device using Apple's on-device text recognition. The image and the extracted data are never uploaded to any server and never leave your device.
The App uses local notifications to remind you to log your daily work hours. These are generated entirely on your device. No notification content or activity is transmitted to anyone. You can disable notifications anytime in the app or your device settings.
All data is stored locally using the device's standard storage. The App does not use cloud storage, databases, or remote backups. If you uninstall the App, all stored data is permanently deleted from your device.
Hourly does not integrate with or send data to any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. No SDKs for data collection, crash reporting, or advertising are included.
The App is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Since all data is stored locally, you have full control at all times. You can view your data in the App, clear it with "Clear All Work History" in Settings, or uninstall the App to remove everything permanently.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
